What is OCRD?
The Online Content Research and Development Section (OCRD) section staff and its trained teaching assistants supportTokyo Tech faculty members in all aspects of online content development covering Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC) and Small Private Online Courses (SPOC) planning, production and course running. OCRD also offers consultations and assistance with copyright issues. Furthermore, OCRD manages two video recording studios on campus for video and media production to support Tokyo Tech faculty, departments and schools to record video lectures for a variety of purposes.
Welcome to OCRD
Tokyo Tech’s Online Content Research and Development Section (OCRD) within the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) was formed in July 2022. It was previously called the Online Education Development Office (OEDO) which began in December 2014 in order to promote online education, develop online courses for Tokyo Tech and non-Tokyo Tech students, and to serve as a campus hub for online content development knowledge.
