Dr. Asayama is interested in understanding large fields (especially infinite algebraic extensions of finitely generated fields over prime fields) via studies on Mordell-Weil groups of abelian varieties over such fields. He also works as a member of the PFF project team to develop new training programs for teaching assistants in Science and Engineering fields.
